The club has a new committee who are organising a number of events for the benefit of members. These include:

Many events quickly become fully subscribed, so be sure to put your name down early if you would like to come on any particular trip.
 
The very popular "Meat Raffle" is being held each Friday night. Tickets are on sale at the bar throughout the week. Please ask the bar staff for them. £1 per strip of 5 tickets.
 

The committee also organise and run "Open The Box" each Sunday lunchtime. "Open the Box" is open to members only. Big money prize if you select the correct key that opens the lock on the box.

SUNDAY LUNCH

The caterers will be serving Sunday Lunch today. Just £8.50 per person for a three course meal.

Members who would like to book lunch are requested to either book at the bar, or contact the club on 01303 267559 and provide their choice from the menu options below:
 

Starter: Minestrone Soup and roll or Deep Fried Brie

Main Course: Roast Lamb or Cod in Mushroom Sauce served with Roast/New Potatoes, Carrots, Peas and Cabbage

Sweet: Cheesecake or Apple Pie and Custard

DAY TRIP

A day trip to The Museum of the Opale Coast and Boulogne is being organised. Discover the story of WW2 from the Polish Campaign to Hiroshima. Thousands of original artifacts and more than a hundred models are on display. You can also see a film of the Battle of Britain and Normandy landings. Two hours at the museum and three hours in Boulogne. Please contact Len Garrard for further details.
